Multi-million dollar project for the construction of a 1.6Km steel gas pipeline within the city of Edmonton (Canada). Amtel was main contractor for Atco gas. The work was very complex and included things like horizontal directional drilling and pulling of up to 500m of welded gas pipeline sections; tie-in into a live gas pipeline utilising the hot tapping technique; installation of valves and complex tie-ins; civil works and road restorations, utilities exposures and 60 utility crossings.
